Silk Carpets Workshop established in 1992 as a joint venture workshop with the aim of reviving the lost tradition ofcarpet weaving in Central Asia. Located in the heart of the ancient Silk Road under the direction of master craftsman, Haji Mohammad Ewaz Badghisi ( Haji Baba ).The workshop undertook the task of reintroducing the art of handmade carpets using natural dyes,such as onion skins,madder roots, walnut shells, pomegranate and other plants.
